Don't Honk at me it's Christmas:)

Driving home from seeing family for Christmas.   Didn't plan ahead so we pull into an all parking spots open lot to see about something for lunch.  It's Christmas Day.   Somebody pulls in behind us and gives us a loud honk!  I guess we were pondering too long figuring out the situation of open or not.   Please just wait two more seconds and you can go around us and saunter toward the Starbucks which is closed by the way.  We had our eye on....where else...?  Der Wienerschnitzel!!!!  Highly unsual for Christmas lunch, I know.   I politely sang out of the window as we were leaving (close to freeway ramp), in a nice St. Nick tone, "Don't Honk at me, it's Christmas!":)

I love the spirit though, of most:) The reindeer nose on the prius, the Kmart layaway Secret Santas, the extra smiles from strangers. My niece recently saw a rental/ lease sign on a home that instead of saying "For Lease"...it said "For Lease Navidad! "I like that. Creative Spirit or was that Christmas graffiti?
