I like some routines but really like nonroutine routines. Changing things up.
Morning routines I like are: Coffee with stevia and almond milk, getting dressed right away, getting my hairdo off of my face and going on the computer. Look at my family and 1.2 friends on facebook, check the bank accounts, and maybe blog. It's a relaxing way for me to get the day started. Warming up my mind. I did walk outside for a few minutes this morning to contemplate an early morning walk (warm up the body). I'll wait 'til later. A few degrees later. I may even go for a bike ride, a "destination bike ride."
The routines I don't like are...having to do the same thing over and over. Oh wait, that's a routine! Those like..okay at 5pm you must walk for 1 hour each day. I'd rather mix it up. It gets boring for me. Even walking/ biking in the same place. I need new stimulus, and why not? This is a first world luxury where I can do that. I do appreciate that. Some peoples routine might be to ride their bike or walk for an hour each day just to get water for the day.
My work hours are routine, but my work day is definitely not. There are always challenge surprises and I enjoy solving/ creating solutions.
We haven't been able to travel like we used to. My favorite thing! I love discovering and being out of my element. I like seeing new places and people. Seeing old people in new places. You know, the family that has moved away. You know who you are. No, you're not "old" in that sense. We are hopeful to be able to travel like we used to. Just getting through some health curve balls and then...watch out Georgia, Ohio, and Scotland!!
