Finely Chopped Slices #24347839 Raincations

Hubby and I were talking tonight and we saw that a nearby town (an hour away) may get rain on Monday. "Ooooh, I love the rain," I say. I then check our zip code for possible dewage in the forecast. Nothing, partly cloudy. Hubby then proceeds to tell me gleamy eyed about the rain that we had recently and how it really downpoured. What?!!!! I say. Yeah, basically two years ago it really required one to turn the wipers on non delay. I was cracking up about his vivid recollection like it was yesterday. It had such an impression on him. Me, I'm thinking the last time I saw rain was well, can't remember. I really like rain and when the sprinklers come on frankly I pretend that it is raining. Some people go to Hawaii for the lava beaches, or the Rockies for the majestic mountains, or Lake Tahoe to ski, etc. I'm thinking that we need a "raincation." Yep. We need Seattle? Ireland? Ohio? We're going to definitely seek out some soggy weather and plan ahead. Funny thing is hubby just told me that in the back of his cab (truck) he keeps an umbrella and an ice scraper. Neither of which he needs. Last time I scraped frost off of my car window was with an atm card. So on these weathery dreams to all of you out there who get normal amounts of rainfall, whatever!!!!
